The final round of judging is to happen on the 5th of September, 2008 at the ADTMC Lab, 3rd Floor - University of Colombo School of Computing.
If you are among the selected groups for this round, please make a note of the following guidelines.
You need to be present 30 minutes before your scheduled presentation time.
- The criteria used for evaluation will be the APICTA criteria.
- Format: 12 minute uninterrupted Demonstration and Presentation Time (Total Time is 12 Minutes) + 5 minutes Q & A.
- You need to provide evidence of your software's performance to the Judges during the Demonstration. In case your product cannot be deployed in the Lab Environment properly, you would still need to provide evidence by form of Photographs / Video / Letters etc from Organizations/Environments which the Software is Installed. If you have any additional documents (Research Papers Published etc) they should also be available for inspection - if requested by judges. The judges will be given a copy each of the project description sent with the application in advance as well.
- If a student/team exceeds the 12 minute Demonstration and Presentation time, they will not be given extra time to complete.
- If the assigned team is absent at the time of their presentation, the judging panel will decide that the team is not present for evaluation. No further time slot will be provided in such situations.
- Participants will be provided with Computers running Windows XP. However, if your project needs specific hardware, you are recommended to bring your own equipment. You will be given 15 Minutes to setup, prior to your scheduled presentation time. Your presentation will not be utilizing a Multimedia projector. Instead, you will present using a standard computer monitor/LCD. (Note the Lab will host several simultaneous judging panels)
